I have a problem... I started My pokemon hg game by saving and then restarted and clicked new game without cancelling my oldest save. The thing is that now i m at elite 4 and the game forces me to save. It is impossible for me or the game itself to save so he gets me to the main menu where i find the first save file. I just can t do anything and i m thinking of burrowing a friend's in game save to start from his progress. If there is a way to get my ml1 save to work, that would be the best. If not possible then i m trying to load my friend's sav file but invain |

is it really a savefile (.sav) or a savestate (.ml0, .ml1, ...)? The easiest thing would be a savefile because that's compatible with all versions of melonDS. Then just press File -> Import savefile and select that file. Though keep in mind that your previous save game (before you restarted the game without erasing the savefile first) will be overwritten, so if you want to keep that, be sure to locate your savefile and put that somewhere else. ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! Sorry to bother u again, the game is loaded but when i save and reset the game still doesn t read any file so i do again import savefile but the savefile has not been overwritten with the latest save i did |

I have had the same issue with the latest release. You can get around it by changing the name of your save files from NameOfYourGame.ml1.sav to NameOfYourGame.sav
This didn't happen to me on the previous version, and I think it may only happen if using custom save paths. I will try and test further. |
