Hello !
First of all great job for making this emulator ! I'd like to share my main downside so far (and a tiny one after) so that it can get fixed and improve the emulator a bit. If you're using a controller, unless it has been turned on and connected before MelonDS launches, it will simply not be recognized. You'll have to exit Melon, and restart it. Same applies if it turns off for any reasons ; You have to make a save state, exit melonDS, make sure it's connected before you launch MelonDS then load the save state. It's definitely not a huge problem, but it would be nice to have it fixed (I'm currently using a wireless Xbox One controller , no software like DS3Tool or similar is used) Also, another tiny downside is that we cannot use custom hotkeys for savestates. For example I like to often make save states, but it would be nice to simply have to press a key or a button on my controller rather than doing the Shift+Fx thing. Surely it's not a huge con, but still something that could be added if there is nothing else to do Thanks for reading btw Pinball |
