So on most threads about .sav files, it is either digimon or pokemon and exporting from desmume (or other emulators) but I am playing WarioWare DIY on melonDS... or trying to. I used to use desmume on Retroarch, but one day, Retroarch stopped outputting sound and didn't show on the volume control list anymore in Game Bar (another problem, however, just related bc why I started using melonDS). However, when it says that the game makes a .sav (via e.g. making a game, finishing a stage in the tutorial, etc), it actually doesn't make a .sav file. Any help on this? Or is this a WarioWare DIY problem?

Note - just tested COD4MW before posting and it works with .sav files perfectly on melonDS (makes and saves them correctly) but not with WarioWare DIY. Doesn't matter how it's loaded or saved. Please help me.

Edit - Tested it with a pre-existing sav from the internet and doesn't work. Also, I saw the romlist.bin thing but I don't know how to do that.
Edit 2 - spelling and grammar.

WarioWare DIY uses a special kind of cartridge which currently isn't supported by melonDS

ok didn't know that. Still, I just tested it on Retroarch desmume and it didn't work there too.
