Hello, I hope anyone who is reading this can help me with this.

Whenever I open any version of MKDS. I was left with a blenk white screen of death the second time I opened up the emulator. I always have to repeat the following process: delete the firmware -> rename firmware.bin.bak to firmware.bin -> Reset melonDS. And that's the only way to get the firmware working again. However, I ran into one issue: it deletes my WFC config. So everytime I do this, I always have to retype all the config infos, and it's very tiring, plus the process I mentioned earlier. Please, if any of you have the solution to this, tell me ASAP. I need the firmware to get the download play working as well as other stuff that came with it.

Thank you.

I tried to search the internet, but none of the firmware I found is good. Perhaps Emuparadise does, but the site is dead.

The two instances always disconnect and never worked once. Neither normal play nor download play works.

Open MELONDS two times, open the game in the both melonds windows, active the NSMB Multiplayer mod and now you can play.

But I already said I can't play because they always disconnect. Read the stuff before you decide to post it. -_-

Do you have "bind socket to any address" enabled?

Yes

it can also help to disable the framerate limiter, vsync, audio sync, let both melonDS instances run as fast as possible

I'll grant that it's not too convenient as far as gameplay is concerned, tho

I did try that, but they disconnected... again... this time a bit later.

Are you using the latest artifacts or the latest stable?

I downloaded the latest version from this site only.

Yeah you can JUST open it with WinRAR because it opens .7z files too.

They would be specifically for local multiplayer games since not that many people have RL friends to play with. Wifi already exists

I've talked about this in another thread, but I'm gonna talk about it again anyway. I think the feature of local multiplayer sucks a lot. You have to have either 2+ computers on the same network, or 2+ instances to play local multiplayer. The proccess of that is really gimmicky, it disconnects a LOT and I don't think most people here has friends to play with at their homes in real life. So I REALLY want you, the mod, to implement a local multiplayer room system that functions like Citra's (a 3DS emulator) local multiplayer system.
