Hello everyone, I am trying to install melonds on linux but I'm quite new to linux
so I basically don't really know a lot about it. I'm also not sure how to install the linux on linux. I tried executing it with ./melonDS in the command line but it doesn't have any file extension and it gives an error when I try to do that: ./melonDS: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL2-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I searched this error and came on a stackoverflow question with this error but that person already had certain files downloaded and I
wasn't sure if that would be correct since it says nowhere those are required. Could anyone give some basic instructions for me on how to make this work. Would be highly appreciated! Edit: Linux 4.4.0-72-generic #93-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 31 14:07:41 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Using linux munt, does x86_64 mean it's not x64? |
