So I downloaded the bios and firmware files, but MelonDS won't recognize it. I changed the bios files from rom to bin, but it still wont work.
What am I doing wrong? |

they're named wrong. they should be:
bios9.bin bios7.bin firmware.bin maybe you have that 'hide file extensions' feature and it's messing with you. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

i already said I changed the names. Is there another program I have to use? Or a specific Bios and firmware package I need? "hide extensions" isn't on.
Is there like a video to show specific steps? |

you said you changed the file extensions. Did you also check the actual filenames?
They have to be bios9.bin bios7.bin firmware.bin They can't be anything like biosARM9.bin biosARM7.bin DSfirmware.bin (mine were named something similar to this before I changed them) If that still doesn't work, then try to get a new copy of the bios/firmware files from somewhere else. Also, the bios/firmware files need to be in the same folder as the melonDS executable; not in a subfolder or another location. |

Spidey616,
We saw your message, it is useless to spam the oder subjects ^^. But if you need some help you have to be more precise in your exposition of the problem and your advance ! I would love to help you but I need more informations, here are some few questions : 1-Have you a 64 bit operating system ? 2-Have you downloaded the bios and the firmware ? 3-Did you successfully unzip all folders ? 4-Did you created a folder to contain all the melonDS program files, the bios and the firmware renammed as sinept mentionned it ? 5-Did you launch melonDS.exe and what happened ? |
