Whenever I try to select roms in melonDS on arch linux, it doesn't open up a menu for me to select the roms. I already had to manually put in the bios files by using my graphical file manager and copying the file addresses. Anyone know a solution to the problem so I can load up my roms?

File Manager: MC(Midnight Commander), Nautilus/Gnome Files, PCManFM.
Window Manager: AwesomeWM
OS: Linux(Arch Linux)

normally clicking the Browse buttons would bring up a file picker thing. I don't quite see why that wouldn't work...
