Just installed melonDS, bios, firmware, etc... Opened a rom to play, and the framerate is constantly updating in the title bar:
[59/60] melonDS 0.9.1 [61/60] melonDS 0.9.1 [59/60] melonDS 0.9.1 [60/60] melonDS 0.9.1 [58/60] melonDS 0.9.1 [61/60] melonDS 0.9.1 multiple number updates per second... Is there a way to hide this, as it is really distracting seeing flickering numbers on the title bar while playing. |

You could use fullscreen mode. Also do you have both Framerate Limiter and Audio Sync on? If so, disable Audio Sync. ____________________

1. throw code to be emulated somewhere 2. make memory system that allows accessing that code 3. emulate CPU 4. have fun implementing all the other hardware -- Arisotura, Tuesday 5th January 2021, 22:00:17 |

Just checked, "limit framerate" was defaulted to off, "audio sync" to on. Turned off "audio sync," numbers got into high 200s with hyperfast audio and flickering framerate. Turned on "limit framerate" and now it is a mostly static [60/60]. Framerate brackets are still there, though. If there is a way to hide them, that'd be great, but this works as a partial solution: the numbers aren't changing much--if at all. |

Yep. The only way to actually hide it currently would be to into fullscreen mode (if you really want no distractions). Config -> Input and Hotkeys -> General Hotkeys. ____________________

Ok, thanks for letting me know. Is there anyway to suggest it be toggleable in a future build, or is that even possible? |
