My roommate brought his 3DS and a collection of DS games, including Mario Kart, to college. I did not, but I did bring a powerful computer and a collection of ROMs I dumped back home.
Is it possible, even theoretically, to do local multiplayer between an emulator and a console? I'm on Linux, and have some fancy networking hardware, so it may be possible to do direct access to my network card and emulate the protocol. Otherwise, perhaps I could emulate Nintendo's WFC servers and trick his device into connecting to them. Any tips on the matter? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious; maybe this is wishful thinking. (PS: if you want me to try and cap packets, I can, I have both monitor mode and packet injection supported [AX200]) |

I dont think thats possible.
But you could connect to an alternative WFC service like Wiimmfi. |
