if it's slow because melonDS can't run fast enough the JIT might help (if I get it running with melonDSi welp!) ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! "clearly you need to mow more lawns and buy a better pc" - Hydr8gon |

Hydr8gon: maybe you're just a derp
also amusing that this board works nearly perfectly under that antique browser. the homepage does work but gives a 'low on memory' warning... anything ever so slightly Hipsterweb-y will shit itself, mostly because it doesn't recognize the modern TLS certificates. I wonder how much of a difference the JIT would make there. no doubt that the browser is CPU intensive. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

it might also be just some printf being spammed thousand times a frame
that's fun too ____________________ Take me to your heart / never let me go! "clearly you need to mow more lawns and buy a better pc" - Hydr8gon |

Generic: nah, I removed those
Hydr8gon: thanks also, fun technical side notes: * this is running entirely on the new libslirp interface. no libpcap. * it's not quite there yet. I resorted to a bit of a hack to make it work; have yet to find out how to do it right. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

Tested this on Linux (no idea how to compile this on Windows) and Mario Kart DS worked pretty good online on wiimmfi.
Good job. EDIT: it might be just me but it also feels way more faster then libpcap too. |

I don't think NO$GBA has wifi emulation ____________________
How to write an emulator
1. throw code to be emulated somewhere 2. make memory system that allows accessing that code 3. emulate CPU 4. have fun implementing all the other hardware -- Arisotura, Tuesday 5th January 2021, 22:00:17 |
