So I'm doing a play through of pokemon HeartGold using MelonDS, and I've made it up to the elite four. Up until this point I've been using save states as the way to save, but after I beat the champion the game does a forced save (which most of the time just crashes the emulator) but then the game requires you to load up your save again, which I can't do as my only saves are as savestates. I'm not the best when it comes to this stuff so I apologise if this has an easy fix that I've overlooked but I can't seem to create a save file with the data from my game that the ROM recognises as a save. Thanks for your help! I've provided an image of the file I'm running MelonDS from.

Everytime I do this it either crashes or doesnt create a save file. |

No wifi Symbols that I can see, and my playtime seems accurate. |
