I'm planning on buying new components for a PC, and my processor would be a Ryzen 5 1600. Will it let me play Pokemon Games like Platinum, HG/SS, B/W and B2/W2 over 60 fps? I am new to the forum, so I really wanted to know, and my GPU will be a GTX 1660.

I can run everything at 60FPS in melonDS with an i7-2600K and my laptop's Cortex-A72/A53s, so that CPU should run it just fine too. GPU basically doesn't matter, anything that supports OpenGL 3.1 will do, but even if it doesn't you can still use the software renderer.

software renderer is also threaded (by default) so anything with multiple cores should run it at a decent speed

The OGL renderer is threaded too?
Any plans to thread it? because i guess it could benefit some GPUs and mobile GPUs.
