is it possible to play ds games online in melonDS without using a ethernet cable? in version 0.7.4 there was indirect mode nut that didn't work that great
it let me connect to wiimmfi but after 30 seconds it automatically disconnected every time. is there any way to connect using direct mode without ethernet? also are any plans to develop indirect mode? |

indirect mode will likely be rewritten to use SLIRP or whatever it was
iirc there's a workaround for direct mode over wifi but I don't know the details ____________________ Kuribo64 |

i havn't been able to get indirect mode working on 0.8.2, is it in the newer versions or was it removed? |

i can't get it to work on 0.7.4 or any version above, do i need to install anything? the last time i tried using indirect mode it worked fine |

I don't think so, maybe check firewall settings? other than that, not too surprising. indirect mode is basically a large pile of hacks. ____________________ Kuribo64 |

when I try connecting using indirect modw i get an error saying unable to connect using this nintendo wfc id, i deleted the wifi settings and game data but i get the same error |

what is the wiimmfi dns? i'm not sure why I can't connect to wiimmfi |

Indirect mode only works with homebrew as far as I understand.
Only direct mode works with Ethernet. You can also tether your phone with USB so it uses the phone's connnection. |
