I have a Chromebook that I am using as my emulation machine.

I was using Desmume, but I have been recommended to melonDS because it actually supports AR codes in the Linux version.

I have installed melonDS through the Linux Terminal, but I am at a loss as to what I need to do from here.

Does anyone have some basic ass step-by-step instructions for a Linux novice like myself?

if you followed the build steps successfully there should be an executable file called melonDS in the build folder. To run it just type ./melonDS into the terminal.

I kind of had to piece together how to install it with Snapcraft and gimp.

Like I said, I'm a novice to this and need some pretty straightforward instructions on this.

If your devices is supported you can install flatpak on Chrome OS.
